Thunder Arrow Kennel

Our main goal at Thunder Arrow Kennel ( TAK ) is the relentless pursuit of breeding healthy, stable, working American Bulldogs.  This American breed is a true working dog which earns its keep in our home and hearts by protecting, hunting, catching and serving of course as a member of the family.  Our dogs consist of Hines strain of American Bulldogs.  The major focus of our lines of American Bulldogs are in the Hines strain, which we consider to be an excellent strain of performance working bulldogs.  The Hines strain started by the late Billy Hines of Texas have been proven over time and again.  Countless numbers of breeders owe a debt to Mr. Hines.  The Hines strain is a proven line of hog catching, hunting and protection American Bulldogs.  Serveral key Hines dogs are at the center of our breeding program.  Sanders Kombat is an integral part of our program, she was one of the best representations of a Performance American Bulldog.  Baine, our main stud is a Darksides Vader Red x Sanders Kombat dog.  This was probably the best breeding ever done with Vader Red, an incredible working bulldog with a beautiful red color.

Sanders Bishop (Hines Bossman x Sanders Kombat) is also an integral part of our dogs.  We have been blessed with being able to acquire some great dogs from some great kennels who have stayed true to the Hines strain of American Bulldogs.  Other dogs that are in our dogs pedigree or directly related to our line includes Hines Texas Ranger of Alan Scott (a tremendous catchdog and producer of superb working dogs).  Sanders Ceaser, Hines Bossman, Hines Jimbo, Hines Apatche, Tru-Forms Azlan, Sanders Bishop, Tnu's Pantera of Serenity, Legends Truman of Serenity, Sanders Fandango, VR's Moonshine of AR, Hines Hillbilly, Hines Country Boy, the list goes on. We have brought in some fine Screaming Eagle blood with Preacher for our outcross.  We hope to produce some of the tightest Kombat line of dogs in the country.  Our mission is to keep this strain around for others to enjoy for years to come.  In the near future we hope to title our dogs in the work and show ring and we remind others that titles and trophies do not and never will define the working American Bulldog, no amounts of trophies or ribbon can replace the heart of the American Bulldog.  All American Bulldogs are not created equal, only by using the best of the best can quality dogs be produced.  Thunder Arrow prides itself on taking no short cuts and by providing the best of care for our dogs.  They work for us and love us equally as much and we reciprocate 10 folds.  They are first and foremost family members.  Nothing can ever replace a quality working dog except another quality working dog.
